Where sub-soiling is absolutely necessary for max yield potential, it can be quite costly when performed through conventional methods. Specifically designed Ripper shanks limit the surface disturbance and maintain an excellent seed bed. Furthermore, significant benefits have been noted from this concentrated, undisturbed sub-soiling practice. Hence, the loser root zones and greater moisture holding characteristics imply a concentrated sub-soiling in specific areas lead to greater crop potential.
